SKAGIT PRESERVE GOLF COURSE

Meet Paul Lavin, Class A PGA Professional

Paul Lavin built his career across some of the Northwest's best courses — and beyond — before he ever set foot here. From Jefferson Park in Seattle to Kapalua on Maui, with stops at Useless Bay, Echo Falls, and Overlake along the way, Paul spent years learning the game and the business of golf from the ground up.

In 2011, he brought that experience home to bring this golf course back to life. He moved on for a while after that — but eight years later, the course called him back.

Today, as owner and head professional of Skagit Preserve Golf Course, Paul brings 20+ years as a PGA Professional and a hands-on knowledge of agronomy and course care to everything he does here, building a place the whole community can be proud of.

When he's not on the course, Paul is usually off traveling with his wife Shannon, a flight attendant — or holding down the pro shop with his Yorkies close by, ready to greet whoever walks in.

Stop by, say hello, and don't be surprised if a Yorkie says hello first.
